Assessment 2: Role Play

Instructions

This assessment consists of two (2) parts. You must successfully complete all parts to be deemed satisfactory in this assessment.

Part A is a role play which will take place in a Microsoft Teams meeting. You will be invited to nominate a timeslot to attend this practical assessment.

During this live assessment you will role play the work of a policy development group with your Assessor and fellow students.

Part B is an email template to be completed after the role play.

·      Download and complete the following templates during the role play:

o   Guidelines for Developing and Maintaining Policy template

o   Youth Engagement Policy & Procedure template

o   Governance & Accountability Policy & Procedure template

o   Policy Amendment Proposal template

  • Download the Role Play Instructions
  • Download and read WAYS Vision and Values for completing the Policy Amendment Proposal template.
  • Download the Observable Behaviours Checklist. You will be assessed according to the listed criteria during the role play.
  • During the role play, your assessor will complete the Observable Behaviours Checklist. This will be uploaded to your file on completion of the role play.

·      Download and complete the following template after the role play:

o  Email Policy Notification template.

  • Submit your completed, Guidelines for Developing and Maintaining Policy template, Youth Engagement Policy and Procedure template, Governance and Accountability Policy and Procedure template, Policy Amendment Proposal template and Email Policy Notification template by clicking the Add Submission button. This will take you to the file submissions box where you can drag and drop the document into the space provided or upload the document from your computer and click on the Save changes button.

·       This will take you back to the instructions page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit Assignment button.

·       Again, this will take you back to the instructions page to confirm your submission. Tick the box to declare that This submission is my own work and click Continue to finalise the submission process.
