Here is your Course Outline which will guide you through the course and it will help to keep you on track with your assessments.

The Course Orientation section below, includes information on Study Skills and Online Learning Orientation videos. Please look through the study skills and watch each video to familiarise yourself with the program. Remember, you can watch the videos multiple times.
The Course Materials folders below, contain all of the learning materials for each Module of the course. In these folders you will find your Learner Manual, Course Content videos and Supplementary Resources for each Module. During the break between each Module, the course materials for the next Module will be made available. By the time you reach Module 5 of this course all the materials will be available.
The Assessments folders contain the assessments for the each Module of the course. Please read The Assessment Process. This gives you information on why you need to complete assessments, some important rules about assessment and the appeals process.
Whilst you can work through the learning activities at your own pace, the assessments must be submitted by the due date. The assessment due dates are identified in the Course Outline and on the Dashboard (link above). In the break between modules, the course outline will also be updated.

In order to commence your learning for Module 1, complete this Introductory Learning Activity before progressing onto the other course materials. This task is compulsory.

Module 1 includes five assessment tasks and you must satisfactorily complete all tasks in order to be deemed satisfactory for this Module.
Assessment 1 consists of twenty nine Short Answer Questions related to a case study and the roles and responsibilities of being a board member.
Assessment 2 consists of two questions for planning a board meeting and drafting a meeting agenda and an email invitation.
Assessment 3 consists of a role play and completing a meeting minutes template.
Assessment 4 consists of drafting a meeting agenda and an email invitation for a subsequent board meeting.
Assessment 5 consists of a role play and completing a meeting minutes template.

This live, online Assessment is compulsory.

Times will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so be sure to get in early and select your preferred time slots.
