    Take some time to explore the online learning platform before you commence your studies by reading the following text and clicking on the links. 

    Here is your Course Outline which will guide you through the course and it will help to keep you on track with your assessments. 

    Please click into Student Support on the Dashboard (accessed via the top or left-hand side navigation bar) for a range of resources to assist you throughout the course. This includes information on cultural support and wellbeing. 

    Please take some time to read the Tranby Student Handbook. This handbook provides information about important policies and processes and essential information about student responsibilities. 

    The Announcements link below is one of the ways we communicate with you about your course.  

    The Course Orientation section below, includes information on Study Skills and Online Learning Orientation videos. Please look through the study skills and watch each video to familiarise yourself with the program. Remember, you can watch the videos multiple times. 

    The Course Materials folders below, contain all of the learning materials for each Module of the course. In these folders you will find your Learner Manual, Course Content videos and Supplementary Resources for each Module. During the break between each Module, the course materials for the next Module will be made available. By the time you reach Module 5 of this course all the materials will be available. 

    The  Assessments folders contain the assessments for the each Module of the course. Please read The Assessment Process. This gives you information on why you need to complete assessments, some important rules about assessment and the appeals process.  

    Whilst you can work through the learning activities at your own pace, the assessments must be submitted by the due date. The assessment due dates are identified in the Course Outline and on the Dashboard (link above). In the break between modules, the course outline will also be updated.

    Module 1 Course Material

    Module 1 Assessments

    Please read this first The Assessment Process. 

    Module 1 includes five assessment tasks and you must satisfactorily complete all tasks in order to be deemed satisfactory for this Module.

    Assessment 1 consists of twenty nine Short Answer Questions related to a case study and the roles and responsibilities of being a board member.

    Assessment 2 consists of two questions for planning a board meeting and drafting a meeting agenda and an email invitation.

    Assessment 3 consists of a role play and completing a meeting minutes template.

    Assessment 4 consists of drafting a meeting agenda and an email invitation for a subsequent board meeting.

    Assessment 5 consists of a role play and completing a meeting minutes template.

      Please make selections for your preferred day/ time to attend the Assessment 3: Role Play 1. 

      This live, online Assessment is compulsory.

      Please mark a preference for each of the six sessions offered (two times on each of the three days). Add a selection to each of the six pages, then click Finish attempt... to submit your preferences.

      Times will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so be sure to get in early and select your preferred time slots.

    Module 2 Assessments

    Module 2 includes three assessment tasks and you must satisfactorily complete all tasks in order to be deemed satisfactory for this Module.

    Assessment 1 consists of 30 Short Answer Questions.

    Assessment 2 consists of a role play based on a case study and completing templates for policy development.

    Assessment 3 consists of a case study and completing templates for an existing policy review and amendment.
