M1 - Assessment 3: Research Family Tree

This assessment consists of three parts, A, B & C.  

Part A:  

• Download and read Research Family Tree.  

• Create a family tree diagram. Choose from the range of methods listed in the Research Family Tree document or by downloading the Family Tree Diagram Template. 

Part B:  

• Download and complete the Research Methods Questions.  

• Respond to the six questions to describe your research methods.  

Part C: 

• Download and complete the Family Story Template. 

• Use the template to write a 250-300 word report describing the story of your recent ancestor/s in your family tree. 

• You must satisfactorily complete all parts of the assessment in order to be deemed satisfactory in this assessment.  

• Submit your completed Family Tree Diagram Template, Research Methods Questions and Family Story Template by clicking the Add Submission button. This will take you to the file submissions box where you can drag and drop the documents into the space provided or upload the documents from your computer and click on the Save changes button. If you would like to submit a hand drawn family tree for this task, please take a photo or scan the image to your computer and submit by dragging and dropping the image file into the submissions box.  

• This will take you back to the instructions page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit Assignment button.  

• Again, this will take you back to the instructions page to confirm your submission. Tick the box to declare that This submission is my own work and click Continue to finalise the submission process.
