Introduction
Module 4 includes three units of competency.
BSBFNG402 Interact with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation members and the community
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to interact with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation members and the community. This includes interacting with other organisations and the community to meet community needs and involve people in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation and its activities.
The unit applies to individuals who in their role as a member of a board of governance of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation are responsible for communicating with key stakeholders in the community.
BSBOPS306 Record stakeholder interactions
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to create a record of information in a customer management system (CMS) gathered from a stakeholder interaction as a result of an engagement activity.
The unit applies to those responsible for engaging with stakeholders for a range of purposes and in a range of contexts. It also applies to those who create a record of stakeholder interaction.
PSPGEN021 Contribute to conflict management
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to contribute to conflict management in the workplace between self and others.
This unit applies to those working in a role where they may be required to deal with conflict in the workplace. Those undertaking this unit work independently, performing complex tasks in a range of familiar and unfamiliar contexts.
The skills in this unit must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State or Territory legislation, Australian standards and industry codes of practice.
