M1 - Assessment 1: Interview a Client

Instructions

This assessment consists of three (3) parts. You must successfully complete all three parts to be deemed satisfactory in this assessment.

Work through each of the parts sequentially as each task is the next stage of the process of advocating for a client.

All of the tasks relate to the same case study.

 

Part 1. Download and read the Case Study - Advocate for a Client, the Role-Play 1 Instructions, the XYZ Legal Communications Policy and the Marking & Observable Behaviours Checklist Role-Play 1 (OBC). Carefully read the documents several times so that you are familiar with them. Note that the OBC will be completed by your Assessor and has been included here so that you can see the types of behaviour you must demonstrate during the role-play. 

Part 2. Download and complete the Case Note template

Part 3. Download and complete the Report to the Solicitor template

 

Submit your completed Case Note and Report to the Solicitor by clicking the Add Submission button. This will take you to the file submissions box where you can drag and drop the documents into the space provided or upload the documents from your computer and click on the Save changes button. 

This will take you back to the instructions page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit Assignment button. 

Again, this will take you back to the instructions page to confirm your submission. Tick the box to declare that This submission is my own work and click Continue to finalise the submission process.
