Introduction

This Module consists of two units of competency.

BSBFNG406 Assist in developing and implementing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisational policies

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to work with other board members to assist in developing and implementing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation’s policies in order to serve the organisation and the community effectively.

The unit applies to board members responsible for assisting in monitoring and guiding the activities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations.

BSBXCM401 Apply communication strategies in the workplace

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to facilitate and apply communication strategies in the workplace within any industry.

This unit has a specific focus on the communication skills required for supervisor level workers with responsibility for other workers.
