Take some time to explore the online learning platform before you commence your studies by reading the following text and clicking on the links.Here is your Course Outline which will guide you through the course and it will help to keep you on track with your assessments.
Please click into Student Support on the Dashboard (accessed via the top or left-hand side navigation bar) for a range of resources to assist you throughout the course. This includes booking a Student Support Session, joining the Facebook Group and information on cultural support and wellbeing.
Please take some time to read the Tranby Student Handbook. This handbook provides information about important policies and processes and essential information about student responsibilities.
The Announcements link below is one of the ways we communicate with you about your course.
The Course Orientation section below, includes information on Study Skills and Online Learning Orientation videos. Please look through the study skills and watch each video to familiarise yourself with the program. Remember, you can watch the videos multiple times.
The Module 1 Course Materials folder below, contains all of the learning materials for the first block of the course. In this folder you will find your Learner Manual, course content videos and supplementary resources for the first Module. In the last week of this module the next module’s course materials will be visible. By the time you reach Module 5 of this course all the materials will be available.
In order to commence your learning for each Module, complete the Introductory Learning Activity at the start of each Module. This task is compulsory.
The Module 1 Assessments folder below contains the assessments for the first block of the course. Please read The Assessment Process. This gives you information on why you need to complete assessments, some important rules about assessment and the appeals process.
Whilst you can work through the learning activities at your own pace, the assessments must be submitted by the due date. The assessment due dates are identified in the Course Outline and on the Dashboard. In the last week of this Module the next module’s assessments will be visible. By the time you reach Module 5 of this course all the assessments will be available.
